Kristen is a New York-based artist who was raised in Valley Stream, Long Island. She believes in creating art that is honest while unifying, reflecting, and challenging audiences to move beyond their own point of view. She feels that in order to authentically become a character and gain their perspective, you have to first let go of your perception of yourself.
Living so close to New York City opened her up to a world she would fall in love with. From an early age, singing was a part of her. She found so much joy and freedom within it, both physically and emotionally. Growing up, she attended Broadway Dance Center and voice lessons. From there, the love for art continued to blossom. High School was where she discovered her true passion, Musical Theater. Since then, she went on to Point Park University for a BFA in Musical Theatre. She has been seen at the Pittsburgh Playhouse in the Conservatory Theater Company’s productions of Curtains as “Georgia Hendricks” and Spring Awakening as “Wendla Bergman”.
Kristen prides herself on hard work, determination, and authenticity. She is an outgoing, free-spirited, yet grounded individual who is proud of her Puerto Rican and Jamaican ethnicity and is eager to share her creative mind with the world. In her free time, you can catch her writing and listening to music, shopping, trying new restaurants with friends, or spending time with her three dogs; Zoey, Bella, and Kodak.
